OBAA Agri-Business Award
Last Friday evening (October 18th), I had the privilege of going with Michelle Evanitski & Barbara to the Imperial Theatre in Sarnia for the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce 30th Outstanding Business Achievement Awards evening.
Moore Agricultural Society had been nominated along with four other businesses for the Agri-Business Award, sponsored by Cargill Ltd. This award is to recognize and reward excellence & innovation in the agriculture sector.
It was with great pride that Michelle & I took to the stage to accept this award. We accepted this on your behalf as you, the membership & volunteers, made this possible. This award recognizes that we are more than just a fair – we are a business that runs to promote agriculture & help maintain the sustainable growth of our area.
