Working together to enhance the knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of agriculture in everyday life.

About

Brigden Fair offers this “free” program to Primary Grades 2-3 and Junior Grades 4-5-6 from schools in the Lambton County area. Students join us for a day program, which includes ‘hands on’ activities exploring topics on animals, crops and changing technology. The program has been developed to fit the science and social studies units of the current school curriculum while teaching how important agriculture is in our daily lives.

History

In the spring of 1988, Bob McGee, Jackie South, Harold Thompson, Dennis Robinson and Muriel McCallum visited the Lambton County Board of Education [now known as the Lambton-Kent District School Board] offices .  Moore Agricultural Society wanted to make the fair and educational experience for students.
