Western Ontario Outlaws Extreme Lawntractor Racing

Sunday, October 13, 2019 @ 1:00 pm

Western Ontario Outlaws

Western Ontario Outlaws Lawn Tractor Racing was established in the fall of 2006 as a family friendly activity. There’s no prize money in the sport, called the “poor man’s NASCAR,” and machines can reach 160 km/h with engines having from 8 to 90 horsepower and costing from $500 to $5,000 to build depending on the racing class. Each year the club financially sponsors a charity of their choice and for the past three years this has been the Petrolia Food Bank.

The club provides a lawn tractor racing venue at its track in Petrolia as well as at fairs and special events including the Thamesville Threshing Festival and Brigden Fair in addition to the ten regular Sunday afternoon events at our home track. The Outlaws will be featuring their race on Sunday.

Office Closed and Events Postponed

After a lot of thought, research, discussion and consideration, the membership of the Moore Agricultural Society –Home of the Brigden Fair will be following the recommendations of the Lambton Public Health Unit and St. Clair Township and will be closing our facilities until further notice in response to the many unknowns of the COVID-19 Virus. This is effective immediately. Our wish is for all our patrons, volunteers, members, staff and community to be healthy and safe.

Until further notice, our fair office will be closed to the public. The staff will be available by telephone or email and there is a drop box/mail slot at the front door. Thank you for your patience and cooperation . We are monitoring the situation and will keep you up to date with any changes. Stay safe!
